kitchen - (framed original)

This listing is for the original painting. It is painted on 300gsm cold press paper created with ink and pure water-colour pigments.

The painting is 40cm x 30cm and with raw paper edges painted to the edge and is professionally framed using beautiful thick Tasmanian blackwood.

Why do we reproduce the common elements of our world?
To express our love.
To indicate that our love extends far and wide and includes the feeling of a hot cup in our hands, the woolen rug between our toes, the hanging cups, breathing plants and infinite wonderfulness of sunlight streaming through the window. :D

I have painted about 33 watercolour paintings over the past 18 months and honestly, this is the best and it looks even better in RL. It represents a whole new level in subtlety using the beauty of the translucency of pure pigment paints. The area inside the window is luminous raw paper, the walls the softest almost imperceptible grey and cups, pots, plants and wood work that comprise the kitchen are all delicate and nuanced.

Bless you dear kind people who like my art and find solace in dreaming. Through our dreams we will recreate our worlds to include more peace, connection and sweetness.

The sale price includes the cost of the framing, postage and postal insurance.

Purchase of my original works does not transfer reproduction rights, those remain with the artist :D
