This painting shows the etheric body of a healer and it is rich in symbology and story. Through journeys into the emotional underworld her heart has opened with loving compassion and she embraces the perspective ofsub specie aeternitatis (from the view point of that which is eternal). The feathers on her helmet are symbolic of gifts. The cosmos shown at her throat illustrates that she may now allow her voice to be guided by the breath of God.  The red breastplate shows that old defences remain, but because the breast plate is loosely woven her heart is open, connected and is receptive to be an instrument of love. The circlet at the forehead with a moonstone is a reminder to feel with the heart before looking for facts. The “universe” hand is symbolic of an open portals affording us a glimpse into infinite potential.  The wolves teeth are about intimacy with death and the understanding that the cycles of life are a thread of commonality for us all.

This is a print of, the original watercolour painting on cotton paper, and is available in four sizes; small (A5), medium (A4) large (A3) and Special Edition (A3plus). Each print is made from a high resolution image of the original painting and the image is as big as will fit comfortably with a border for framing.

All our prints are on archival papers and inks designed not to fade for 100+ years and are signed by the artist. Special Edition prints are our largest print measuring 13" x 19" inches and are made with museum quality cotton rag, which means that the entire print and packaging is tree free!

We provide free postage within Australia and New Zealand. We always endeavour to use 100% post consumer waste recycled paper and cardboard in our packaging.
