silver-linings

from 12.00

Sometimes in life we are very disappointed. If you take a pessimistic view of life, or perhaps a Buddhist view, you will have already accepted that disappointment in life is inevitable.

We don't always get what we want, people don't always treat us the way we would like, and all of us, without exception, will at some point experience, loss, ageing and illness. This painting is about the moment when we are processing a disappointment, still feeling sadness and a sense of loss about it all; but have reached the turning point where we seek out the strength within us to start writing a positive story about what is happening.  It is the moment when we seek out gratitude despite the disappointment.

The woman walks along the beach, holding flowers behind her body, the flowers are shedding their petals leaving a trail. The flowers represent the expectations that were not met, the ocean will wash the petals away, as she walks through forgiveness and acceptance towards peace. The clouds show little silver linings.

This is a print of, the original watercolour painting, and is available in four sizes; small (A5), medium (A4) large (A3) and Special Edition (A3plus). Each print is made from a high resolution image of the original painting and the image is as big as will fit comfortably with a border for framing.

All our prints are on archival papers and inks designed not to fade for 100+ years and are signed by the artist. Special Edition prints are our largest print measuring 13" x 19" inches and are made with museum quality cotton rag, which means that the entire print and packaging is tree free!

We provide free postage within Australia and New Zealand. We always endeavour to use 100% post consumer waste recycled paper and cardboard in our packaging.

Bless you dear kind people who like my art and find solace in dreaming. Through our dreams we will recreate our worlds to include more peace, connection and sweetness.
