Remote and isolated Bruny Island is the perfect refuge for vulnerable animals. One example is the white wallaby which is so utterly adorable it is like meeting a Jim Henson creation. This painting shows a forest scene where a meeting of animals is taking place by a Sassafras tree. An echidna, wallaby and fallow deer meet among rare fungi and fern. Forest ravens, a butcher bird and a tiny black wren are all chatting in the tree. This painting uses pens, watercolour and bright green shellac ink to create a delicate and otherworldly forest floor.

This is a print of, the original watercolour painting on cotton paper, and is available in four sizes; small (A5), medium (A4) large (A3) and Special Edition (A3plus). Each print is made from a high resolution image of the original painting and the image is as big as will fit comfortably with a border for framing.
